Suzuki Method
The Suzuki method, developed by Shinichi Suzuki, involves teaching from very young children to adult learners.
The approach is based on the belief that all children or adult learners can learn music in much the same way they learn their native language.
Through listening, imitation, proper instruction, and knowledge, along with a positive, nurturing environment, the ability will develop.
The success of this program depends first on parents enrolling in their child’s musical journey, and on how the teachers love their students.
The method requires parental participation in every lesson and daily home practice as well. In general, a major commitment of parental time is required and essential.
